Data engineering & integration
We connect files, databases and APIs through quality checks, shared definitions and monitored data pipelines.
The problem we address
When identifiers, freshness and definitions differ between sources, even a simple report can produce conflicting answers. Integration must make the origin and transformation of each number traceable.
Deliverables we can define
- Source inventory, identifier mapping and data contracts
- Pipelines with duplicate, error and freshness checks
- Incremental integration with existing systems
- Monitoring, alerts and documentation for the IT team
Example applications
What do we review before starting?
We identify source owners, access permissions, data quality and security policy. The project can start with existing files and evolve toward live integration once definitions stabilise.
Practical guides for this solution
Management dashboard design: trustworthy KPIs and traceable decisionsEnterprise system integration: reliable ERP, CRM and data connectionsQuestions about this solution
01Can ERP, CRM and inventory systems be connected?
After reviewing supported interfaces, usage permissions and shared identifiers. APIs or file exchange may be appropriate. Unsupported direct writes to another product’s database are not a sound basis for a maintainable integration.
02What happens after connection failure or duplicate delivery?
Each flow needs a transfer identifier, duplicate prevention, bounded retries and an exception queue. Reconciliation and incident ownership form part of the integration handover.
